Hello! Welcome to the West Elk Wilderness Lodge. When we think of home, we think of a place of love, laughter, and good times. These walls hold a lot of special memories for us, unwinding after a day of adventures around Gunnison. For many decades now, many fond memories have been had with our family hunting and exploring in the nearby West Elk Wilderness, so this was a fitting name for the Lodge. Located on the west edge of town near the Gunnison River on a 1.5-acre lot, we often have deer and fox on the property and every once in a while, a black bear. They are a delight to watch and the sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous as well. The Lodge offers the feeling of being out of town while having all of the amenities and comforts of being in town. We are honored to open our doors to have you share in all that joy, and help you make some memories here of your own. So, when you come in, kick off your shoes and enjoy the wonderful heated floors throughout the home. On the main floor is the first bedroom featuring a queen bed, bunk beds and also a desk area, a bathroom with a steam shower, a living and entertaining space with a pool table and piano, a kitchen and dining area, a laundry room and a morning coffee room. Upstairs you will find another family room with futon bed and game area, the master suite with a king bed, walk-in closet and bathroom with shower, and two more bedrooms with queen beds and a family-friendly bathroom with double sinks and a shower/tub combo. Located near downtown of Gunnison, easy excess to the bus stop, close to western university and walking distance to the restaurants around. Its about 5 min drive to the hospital and the super king, Walmart is just around 7 min ride from the property. We also provide extended stay for people willing to stay for more than a months or so. Our property is located near the park and the bus stop from where the free bus shuttle to CB and back. This property is pet friendly and provides clients to have an extended stay on the cheaper rate. Since it is located in a prime location the excess to super kings, hospital , western university and restaurants are in walking distance. We also provide clients with a common kitchen where they can cook their own food.

This beautiful cedar cabin is located on a one acre wooded lot in Arrowhead Subdivision in the heart of the San Juan Mountain Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains at an elevation of 9300 feet. All utilities are underground so none of the fantastic views are marred by power lines. The home rests in a clearing at the center of the lot in order to maximize views. The rest of the property is set in a combination of majestic dark timber and quaking aspen. There are two Master Suites, each with attached full bath. The completely furnished kitchen and dining room includes pots, pans, standard small appliances and table service for four. All bed and bath linens, hand soaps and sanitizer are provided, so just bring your groceries and personal care items, such as bath soap and shampoo, to complete your home-away-from-home experience! Beds are wonderfully comfy and each queen-sized master suite is separated from the other, providing both privacy and an enhanced sense of solitude for our guests. There is also a queen-sized bed in the spacious loft with great views of the San Juan Mountains. The fireplace in the great room adds both warmth and gracious ambiance. Prop your feet up in the lazy boy chairs and just let your cares melt away. Games, a full library of great books and dish TV are available to enjoy. DVD player available if you wish to bring a favorite movie from home. WI-FI is available also! Large decks grace the front and back of this home, An outdoor barbecue and dining table are ready for your picnic meals. Propane is provided. Look for your Welcome Gift basket on the kitchen counter. Great hiking, biking, ATV-ing adventures start right outside the front door. Our guests are provided with a fishing pass for the lakes in the development. Boat owners can fish Blue Mesa Reservoir (12 miles away) or Silver Jack Reservoir (25 miles away) and bank fishing at both locations is also available. Don't forget to visit The Arrowhead Mountain Lodge during your stay. The charming decor and meals for those days when you don't feel like cooking are a real treat and the Lodge is right in the neighborhood! Here are some of the steps we take between each visit to ensure your home will be sanitized, clean, and disinfected. -All of our cleaning and maintenance staff wear gloves and face covers while in our properties. -All hard surfaces and high touch areas are cleaned with household disinfectant including doorknobs, handles, toilets and faucet knobs, light switches, handrails, remote controls, lockboxes, electronics, thermostats, game areas, furniture, kitchen cabinets and refrigerators, etc. -Private Hot tubs are ALWAYS cleaned, treated and sanitized before your stay. If there is ever a question of cleanliness our crew is instructed to completely drain and refill the tub in addition to sanitizing. Condo shared hot tubs are maintained by each individual HOA and follow current cleanliness standards. -All bed and bath linens are laundered on site and installed with care -Our properties include hand soap, dish soap, and other approved disinfectants for your use -No Contact Check-Ins - there is no need to come to our office during your stay

With private river front access, you will enjoy multiple sitting and viewing areas, amazing fishing access, and more! Put your kayak or tube in the river directly from the property! The den has a wet bar, wood burning stove, and a game table for your entertainment. We provide all the basics, plus so much more - and if you need something just ask ~ we may be able to provide it! We've designed our home for your comfort and enjoyment year round... With a giant outdoor back deck, creek side sitting area, river side sitting area, picnic table, charcoal and propane grill, our outdoor space has been referred to as the best place to find peace in the Gunnison/Crested Butte area.
